When I list your property I don’t just place a few ad’s and wait for the phone to ring. But many agents, if not most, do just that. When you list your property with me, I go in to fire-drill mode to make sure every one I know, and many people I’ve never met before, are aware of your property for sale. I bet you can’t name any other real estate agent who so vigorously notifies so many people in so many places, that your home could be just what they’re looking for.
 

Here are some examples:

  1. Query Other Real Estate Agents
    I call around, ask specific agents who specialize in buyers for homes like yours, to ask them if they have a buyer seeking a home like yours.
  2. Query Your Community Neighbors
    Statistically, many people who “move up” do so in the same area. I go to property owners in surrounding areas, in person, to describe your home and make sure they (and their friends and family) consider if this is the time to move up or downsize to your property.
  3. Stage Open House
    To be honest, an open house is an historically ineffective way to sell your home. But!... I look beyond that. By holding open houses for my clients, it brings me in to direct contact with a lot of buyers. When I list your house, I bring knowledge of buyers I’ve met at other open houses in the past. It gives me access to even those buyers who are working with agents that may not be so vigorously helping them to find your property.
  4. Community Contacts
    I will help you sell in any neighborhood. But I do specialize in a few specific neighborhoods that best fit my special marketing tools and client demographics. If you happen to be in one of those neighborhoods, I can represent your property with greater depth than someone who just “takes listings where ever lightning strikes.”
  5. Professional Contacts
    I maintain close communications and relationships with a few high-performance individual professionals in various other areas such as: mortgage lenders, builders, insurance agents, attorney’s, home inspectors, and others. That way, when one of their clients mentions plans to buy a home, they know they can call me to help.
